BloodXRAD
The Gamma Service BloodXRAD offers an alternative solution to gamma irradiators. With equalling performance and reliability compared with Cs-137 source irradiators, the BloodXRAD also provides secured access across three different levels: Operator, Supervisor and Maintenance.
Gamma Service provides installation, maintenance and training for BloodXRAD systems.
- The BloodXrad is a fully shielded lead lined cabinet with an access door for blood product and biological samples
- The BloodXRAD comprises of:
- 2 x-ray tubes
- 2 high voltage generators - A PC for irradiator with touch screen control
- A bar code reader
The BloodXRAD has an exemplary user interface with touch screen, accompanied by dialogue and command based operations, command panel and an access point for the insertion of blood products and biological samples.
To the rear of the BloodXRAD are the power input cables, and a coupling for cooling tubes.
